Emily Brookhart

Senior Consultant
Emily Brookhart

Emily Brookhart supports clients in empowering student success by conducting research and program evaluation. Her most recent work has focused on college and career readiness, teacher effectiveness and social and emotional learning.

As the daughter of an elementary school teacher, Emily has always viewed education as one of the most important elements in social change. She started her career as a Teach for America corps member, teaching high school English and debate in Las Vegas, NV. Emily left the classroom to pursue a career in social work to better support her students, but quickly realized she could never fully leave education behind. Her career has taken her to a high school counseling office, a community college and a state education agency.

Emily holds a B.A. from the University of Idaho with dual majors in English and International Studies, an M.Ed. from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in Curriculum and Instruction, and an M.S.W. from Portland State University in Social Work. She enjoys puzzling over the New York Times crossword, reading thick fantasy and science fiction novels and cheering on FC Bayern Munich.
