Cristian Ventura is an Associate on the Effective Organizations and Investments Team, where he conducts research and analysis to inform evidence-based strategies that support government agencies, nonprofits and foundations in strategic decision-making.
Cristian has worked in the field of education since his first year as an undergraduate student. He started as a volunteer tutor, translator and after school mentor at the local school district. After graduating, he returned home to work at a college access nonprofit in the Chicagoland area, where he helped plan, facilitate, and evaluate programming and curricula. He remains passionate about increasing access to a quality education for all students.
Cristian earned his B.A. in Latin American & Latinx Studies from Vassar College and his M.S. in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University. Cristian has recently developed an interest in beginner-level crosswords, enjoys reading short stories, and is searching for the best taco in Chicago.
