Executive Assistant
Amanda Kim

Amanda joined Education First in 2023 as an Executive Assistant for the Outstanding Educators team. With a diverse background in high-level administrative support and operations, particularly within the real estate sector, Amanda brings a strategic and organized approach to her role. Over the years, she has developed expertise in managing complex schedules, coordinating teams, and driving operational efficiency. Despite her success in real estate, Amanda is excited to return to her roots in education, where she once taught first and second grade in a Pennsylvania public school. This combination of experience in both sectors allows her to bring a unique perspective to her current work and passion for creating positive impact.

Throughout her career, Amanda has seen firsthand the transformative power of education for students from diverse backgrounds, across races, socioeconomic statuses, and neurodiversity. She believes that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive and is deeply committed to advocating for equitable access to high-quality education for underrepresented learners.

Amanda graduated from the Honors College at West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, as well as Mathematics and Science for grades 7-9. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, she currently resides there with her husband, daughter and dog. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time in the pottery studio, where she finds both relaxation and creative expression.
