Over the course of two years, provided research, facilitation and technical assistance on the design of Baltimore City Public Schools’ new educator evaluation system. Facilitated weekly sessions of the district’s leadership to consider options and make decisions about various features of the evaluation system to ensure it met the requirements of Maryland state law as well as the district’s overall vision for supporting educators. Also facilitated a group of teachers and principals who provided feedback on elements of the system. Other projects included developing the district’s Race to the Top Scope of Work to access more than $50 million in funds, and planning and facilitating two of the CEO’s Cabinet retreats.
