Collaborated with the Connecticut State Department of Education to help the state design a new teacher evaluation system, produce a teacher evaluation framework that supports and retains high performing teachers and develop a statewide model evaluation system. To help develop the evaluation system, Education First led four different stakeholder groups consisting of teachers, union representatives, administrators, management associations and reform organizations. After the initial phase of work, Education First assisted the department in successfully building out the training and support components of its teacher and principal evaluation systems in coordination with New Leaders.
