Over the past two decades, Springdale, Arkansas has seen an influx of immigrant families coming to the region for jobs. The community at large has embraced the newcomers, and the school system has transformed its educational approaches to best serve the new residents as well as existing families. In this brief, we explore how stable leadership, a welcoming approach, and a strong desire for continuous improvement has made Springdale a district to watch.
