Boston Public Schools: Taking Success Into a New Era

Boston Public Schools has a reputation for being one of the most-improved and stable urban school districts in the nation. In July, a new Superintendent took the reins. The briefs describe the strategies that districts have employed to raise academic standards for students, improve educator effectiveness, and engage stakeholders in the design and implementation of new policies. Anand Vaishnav was the lead author of this brief.
